Porties are extremely intelligent and easily trained. Socialization and potty training will start in the whelping box. Social visits from many adults and children, new sights and sounds within the family home along with car rides and a visit to the vets office will take place in the first 8 weeks. Porties must be a part of the family and live in the family home. They are not a kennel dog! They like to be involved in everything you do. Attending a puppy class and at least one session of obedience lessons are a must.
